Clinical System Upgrade – March 2026

Posted on February 6th, 2026

We will be upgrading our clinical system in March 2026.

When is this happening?

Our Practice changeover will start on 11th March 2026.

We will keep you informed of any updates.

What does this mean for you?

  • Our changeover will last around 3–5 working days, during which we will have limited access to electronic medical records.
  • During this short time, GP appointments will only be available for urgent medical issues.
  • Telephone lines will operate as normal, so you can still contact us for advice.
  • Online medication ordering will not be available during the transition phase. After the changeover, there will be a new system for ordering medication, and we’ll provide full details when it’s ready.
  • Scheduled reviews for chronic conditions will be paused during this short transition period.
  • Emergencies should still use the 999 sevice or go to A&E.

How can you help?

  • Order your prescriptions early to avoid delays.
  • Consider whether your need to see a GP is urgent during the changeover period.
  • For minor or self-limiting conditions, you can use Pharmacy First and Pharmacy First Plus services:

       Pharmacy First: www.nhsinform.scot/scotlands-service-directory/pharmacies/pharmacy-first
